Interface ThrowingBiFunction<T,U,R,E extends Exception>

Type Parameters:
T - the apply methods first argument type
U - the apply methods second argument type
R - the type of the result of the function
E - the exception type
Functional Interface:
This is a functional interface and can therefore be used as the assignment target for a lambda expression or method reference.

This interface is similar to the java.util interface BiFunction. Difference is, that it allows the apply() method to throw a defined Exception.
