Timedata InfluxDB

OpenEMS Backend implementation for InfluxDB.

InfluxDB is an open-source time series database (TSDB). It is optimized for storage and retrieval of time series data.

  • Influx Database must have at least Version 1.8.10.

  • The Timedata InfluxDB bundle is the preferred database to use with OpenEMS.

  • A great OpenSource tool to visualize InfluxDB data is Grafana. It helps you getting a deep insight into the data collected with OpenEMS.

  • Before connecting OpenEMS Backend to your influx database, create the database manually:

curl -i -XPOST http://127.0.0.1:8082/query --data-urlencode "q=CREATE DATABASE influx0"
